NPK No Prep Kings Tucson Postponed.
/More terrible drag racing news today. This time it is from the no prep world. We just got word that the the opening NPK event of the 2020 season in Tucson, AZ has been postponed.
On the same day that NHRA pulled the plug on the historic Gatornationals due to fears of the Coronavirus, the decision was made in the best interest of racers, staff, and fans, that No Prep Kings would reschedule their season opener scheduled for next weekend. The overwhelming popularity of these events makes it an obvious, but difficult choice. These events typically sell out and put more asses in the seats than most MLB or NBA events do. Arizona has a large population of older persons that seem to be hit the hardest by this outbreak.
The rescheduled date is set for July 31st - August 1st 2020.
